"Small talk around work" is a student initiative led by PhD students of Faculty of Fundamental Medicine at UNIGE.
The talk series is a non-profit and nonpartisan project. Our agenda is to create concept awareness and to engage in stimulating discourse during the talk series.
Invited speakers are welcome to give a talk or to share their experiences in both professional and personal setting. Specifically, we appreciate talks on soft skill development and career advice. If you plan to start a career as a workshop lecturer, you are very welcome to try out the one hour workshop as our guest.
We especially welcome undergraduate students to attend as both listeners and speakers. If you wish to share about your Masters project in the fields of philosophy or bioethics, you are very welcome as well!
We believe that such exchanges will be beneficial for both speakers and the audience. We also encourage faculty members and industry engineers to give talks to expose our students to wide and cutting-edge research and industry opportunities or experience. To serve a wider audience, the "Small around work" series are to be open to public.
